Another day, another post. Catching up, catching up!
We moved. (You might have guessed that from the post title.)
We found a nice 1980 trailer home in Menomonie, the town where Jerek works and where he will be going to school, and we packed up all our junk and we moved. We now live in a dwelling that is just US. No neighbors upstairs dropping things. No mammoths stomping up the stairs on the other side of our living room wall. Just our wee family.
It. Is. GLORIOUS.
Get this. We also got a washer and dryer. I think that might be even better than the trailer itself, though without one there wouldn't be the other. The other night, I took my clothes off and put on my nightclothes, and then I toddled out to the washer and put them in it, and they were clean and waiting for me to wear again the next day. (I didn't wear the whole outfit, but they are my favorite pants.) It was like magic. :)
Tiri chose her room, and we are working on getting her to sleep in it all night. (This is a longer process than one might think.) Fritzy is in our room still, of course.
After we rent this place for a year, we have the option of our monthly payments going to actually BUYING it instead of renting it. We could have our very own, belongs to us and we can do whatever we want to it, house in a couple of years!
Lots of new things.
Oh, and it also has a dishwasher. :-D
